Safaricom to discontinue PostPay tarriffs

Kenya's telco giant Safaricom Ltd will terminate it PostPay services on 25th May, 2015.
In a conversation with Weito FM, the firm assured the termination is still on as scheduled despite speculation that they may change mind amidst their escalated efforts to offer subscribers smartphones albeit on loan through its M-Shwari platform.
Current PostPay subscribers especially those who don't exhaust their resources have four months to fully utilize the accumulated resources or bid them bye at termination of the service: expect no compensation.
With a subscriber base of about 100,000 on PostPay Safaricom may be giving competitors reason to re-stragegize and get hold of the 100k men and woken who find it tedious purchasing airtime on the go. Not to forget that Safaricom stopped registration of more subscribers when many PrePay customers were switching to PostPay enmasse.
Airtel Kenya wake up. Discard that huge mattress and build base. This is the time. This is a free advice. You will pay for it later: when you start making billions in profits.
