Dr Machage was reappointed after he was cleared by the court of incitement and hate speech charges raised against him and two other legislators in the build up to the constitutional referendum 2010.
Machage was sworn in alongside acting Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet Mr Francis Kimemia, who takes over from Mr Francis Muthaura who resigned from the office on the confirmation of charges of crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the prescence of President Kibaki who congratulated them on assuming their assignments and wished them success in the new assignments.
We too wish him success. Many congrats too in place for his re-appointment.
