Kuria roads devastating

Save for the tiny Migori-Tarime road, I'm made to believe that there is no other tarmac road that runs through the vast Kuria region.

Little can be said of the 'highway' as it serves very few in the region. Most of our people live and commute on very rough roads. Here, 'roads' does not imply many. There are only two key roads one would be proud of in Kuria. The Migori-Masaba-Kehancha-Ntimaru road and the Ikerege-Isebania road.

As I write this, our area representative in the August house otherwise known as Parliament, is back at the roads ministry helm as assistant minister. It is high time he stood up to his roles as MP and minister and give us what is due for us.

Early this week, residents decried the poor roads status...Their pleas were all over the media. Hopefully, someone heard their cry.
Honorable Machage, you have done us much I believe in the two tenures you've been MP for Kuria constituency...There's much more you haven't done. You still got time and resources to. One being the road network. Act NOW.

Leave a legacy...Not a Subaru Legacy of course...It won't like the roads either, if it were to be the legacy you wanted us to remember you for.
